As for OP, everybody should remember that "to each his own" and "live and let live" are still very wise concepts to keep in mind, in daily life as also in videogame-related debates.

On that note, no - Diablo 3 isn't dead and neither is PoE. Just like HoN isn't dead and neither are Dota 2 or LoL, regardless of what various insecure people keep claiming on the internet.

A game is truly dead once a) you can't download/buy the game client anywhere anymore, b) once there are no servers up over which you could actually play the game and c) once there is no official website & forum anymore where any info or debates would be posted, which isn't the case for any of those games i've mentioned.
