I see mirrored items everywhere nowadays, even flasks, white flasks. As if mirroring is ez mode currently. I mean really, really encourage it. it's the most "WTF was GGG thinking ?!!!" thing in this game. it exists for 2 reason: Median XL had a legit item dupe crafting method and in D2:LOD people loved to dupe items in various ways. I dont get it either, why do we need mirrored items? We dont but people love their OP GG item being duped and the sad part is, the original item can be mirrored as many times as one has mirrors which means lots of RMT. I have never seen a mirror drop, not for me, not for anyone else. I don't know anyone who can claim that he got a mirror drop. I have yet to see Eternal drop and I've got about 14 exalts as a drop so far. Yeah don't expect a mirror to drop for you never and be really really surprised if you see one.
