They look a little spread out, honestly. The first two have crit nodes selected, but they won't do anything for your minions. Unless a passive node specifically says "minion" in it, it will not help them out at all (the only exception to this is aura stuff, but that is because they have a radius which benefits allies).

The third one is nice, except you will have to get a lot of good ES gear to make it worthwhile and, as nice as they seem on paper, the shield nodes are not too impressive once selected unless you are holding some kind of GG shield.

The 3 points you invest in the energy shield cooldown nodes below CI are lackluster as well (the 3 below deep wisdom fall into the same category, but you don't really have a choice with those)

I used to like CI when I first started playing, but once I went life I never looked back. It just has a better return than CI for a majority of the game. You're more likely to get life mods on gear, you can use your life flasks to get you out of most "Oh crap!" moments in a flash and getting stun locked is far less common.

Another problem with CI is that it kind of limits your auras. Granted, you should still be able to run the same amount for the most part (at least % ones), but your leftover mana pool will be way smaller without Eldritch Battery and our summon spells can become very mana intense, especially if we are casting them quite a lot (mana regen won't help much if you are always going down to 0 mana or simply don't have enough to cast a single spell). Also, the more mana you have unreserved, the more tantalizing a node like Mind over Matter becomes.
