Auto log outs are not allowed and are a bannable offence. We went through this in closed beta. Now that being said iv never actualy heard of any 1 getting banned for useing them, GGG just looks the other way ( they would probley have to bad like 40 % of the so called "hardcore" ladder players if they did )
True. But you can check this video frame-by-frame, this is totally macro for exit :)
Aaron Ciccheli, a guy who made millions running Diablo and PoE RMT sites, owns a significant portion of GGG. How's that for a conflict of interest? 7.5% of your supporter pack money goes to this guy.

This is personally Chris mention about that. Reddit - is not official source of information and TOS.

Any macro that performs more than one action is bannable, as is anything that sends it based on a timer.
It's fine to have a button that causes /oos, or /remaining or casts an aura, but having a timer to repeat actions or a macro to cast all your auras is not allowed. This is because these are things that normal players cannot do, so they give advantages in terms of playing speed.
I haven't edited any posts in this thread but if you could please do so that'd be appreciated. Thanks, guys!
So, first Chris say any macro more that performs more than one action (Press ESC, Moving mouse, Press left button = 3) is not allowed and bannable, and then he said on Reddit other position about this.
Double standards is double standards...

It's an exception to the rule. If you want to ignore it because it was posted on reddit, be my guest.

Yeah, thx. If you check the TOS, you never find any informations about multibox or macros. That is a problem too. GGG should to update it this.

Not sure it's an exception so much as Chris being too vague when using the word 'action'. Since in that same post he specifically mentions a /oos macro, or /remaining macro being okay due to being only one action, when an /oos macro required you to first press 'enter', then press '/' then press 'o', then press 'o', then press 's', then press 'enter', which is a whole lot of actions. Which would lead me to assume that when Chris said actions he meant 'character actions' for lack of a better term, eg. doing one cast is one action, doing one resynch is one action, doing one logout is one action, etc.
