Authotkey script to buy in stacks !

So, I made a autohotkey script to buy items from a vendor in stacks, usually trading up to portals and then transmutes is a massive pain in the ass so this script will click where ever your mouse is, drag to the first 5 slots on the top row of your inventory then drag those 5 in to the 1st slot on the 2nd row down (Like this - http://i.imgur.com/ppYidf0.jpg), and you can just spam it until the stack of whatever you're buying is full, then just move the stack and do it again. It makes things much less tedious.

I'm not entirely sure if this is allowed as it is sort of automation but it's doing such a tedious and mundane thing, and isn't really detectable, it probably is allowed.

EDIT: I forgot to say, this is for 1920x1080 only. To make it work in other resolutions you would need to use Autoit3 that comes with autohotkey to find the coordinates of the 6 inventory slots and replace all of the coordinates in the script. Which will take 5-10mins, which is still better than the time it will take to buy stuff scrolls manually.

Works awesome, but i had to insert "Sleep 50" after every line, cause it just skipped it.
btw if you are too lazy to read help just:
- download and install program
- create on desktop new - autohotkey script file
- edit it and insert there script
- save and run
- mouseover item you want to buy and press "V"

soon buying stuff won't be enough and you'll get the urge to have AHK clear a zone for you, then you'll progress to identifying and picking up certain loot.

pretty soon your whole gameplay is automated.

Actually, I think this is a very good thing :) as GGG WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE FIXED THIS A LONG TIME AGO ahem... So automating shopping is greatly appreciated as the way that's done now is annoying at the very least.

I would like to see what GGG's stance on autohotkey and keyboard/mouse macros is.

i would say on this particular item,

its a workaround for an ingame bug,
it doesnt do anything you couldnt already do,
and it doesnt give you an advantage over other players

So i would be pretty confident GGG would b ok with it

great but i would only use it if GGG say its ok....

This is an incredibly uninformed post. The bots you're familiar with have to hook into the game to read memory in order to perform the actions they do. This script is more like a macro: it's a repeated set of actions, with no built in intelligence or decision-making. It just performs the exact same actions every time you run it. Without some heavy finagling, about the best you can do with AHK/Auto-It is a pixel-reading bot, which is incredibly complicated, highly prone to failure, and overall not worth the time.

They're entirely different things, and it's pretty foolish to assume that because somebody wants to use a macro that they'll want to use a bot, too.

Scripts like this need to be banned.
