CI is always on full life as your Low-life status is based on a percentage of your maximum life value. On CI, you are 1/1 hp. That means you will either be on full life, or dead.


That being said, CI would take away a few things.

1. The Pain Attunement keystone passive gives you 30% 'more' damage when low life.
2. The 100% damage increase on the Redbeak sword only works on Low Life.
3. Your biggest magic find boost comes from Wondertrap boots which gives you 100 rarity bonus on low life.
4. You lose 2 main auras running on Blood Magic to give you low life.

All that CI could give you, is 'more' energy shield, but not necessarily more clear speed due to the loss of #1 and #2 for dps and #4 for survivability. You would be forced to run only Clarity and Discipline auras and have to put points into more +Increase Max Mana passives and the CI cluster.

Those points would have to come from somewhere, and it would most likely come from your damage nodes (exasperating the issue of survivability).

Yes, low life requires you to be under 35% HP. This is technically impossible with CI unless you're dead, since 1/1 hp = 100% and 0/1 hp = 0%.

You'll be vulnerable to chaos damage but for a low-level map farming character, that doesn't matter much.
