Some Future Plans for the HC Standard League?

Hey there,

im myself mostly a 4 Month Racer.
From Time to Time i just whant go "back to the Roots" and play some Standard HC with my farmed Gear/Currency.

Some GGG Employee (didnt Remember who) says, that ~1% of PoE Playerbase play HC Standard even in the 4 Month.

So its Realy hard to find Grps/Trader there to Progress and im not Realy a Fan of Playing all Time Solo.

So are there any Future Plans to make the Standard HC League more Attractive to Force a more Stable Playerbase to play there?

I know im one of the Problem too, because i mostly Race and mostly just come back to HC Standard, when the 4 Month is over. There is just Nothing what Standard HC offer to come back in the Time a 4 Month is running.

As a HC only Player, i realy would like to see some Love to have a more stable Playerbase in my loved Permanent League.
I realy Hope you Guys from GGG have some Plans. To be honest, i dont have myself a Idea to bring back life in my nearly dead Child.


But...
I just whant Beg you GGG, to not forget us "Rare" Standard HC Player.
Please Throw a Eye on our League.

I don't think GGG can do anything to push more players to play normal Hc (plz don't refer to it as Standard Hc, it just sounds wrong :P). The players want to play what they wanna play. You should ask some friends in game or in real life if they want to play normal Hc with you.

About the traders, it's really hard to convince them to join a "dead" league cause nothing moves with such a small playerbase.

If GGG didnt give in regular HC would have been filled with lots of people. But the QQ was so strong it seems some people have more weight around here and they got what they wanted, a dead regular HC.

You got it all wrong. The players that complained wouldn't play at all. They would not continue in normal hc.

That was the whole point of the argument:

You can only talk for yourself not for others on this. I play the SC then go back to HC for the rest of the month. You might not. Different people, different choices.

Ok, let me rephrase this cause i am not speaking about myself.

THEIR (THE ONES THAT COMPLAINED) ARGUMENT WAS:

HC "standard" is pretty hardly attractive, one of the few solutions;

- HC league => 30% increased drop rate & quality
- HC standard => 20% increased drop rate & quality
- SC league => 10% increased drop rate & quality
- SC standard => 0% increased drop rate & quality

- HC only items

Huge majority will always play leagues since they're what keep the game fun for many.

The disparity between HC and standard is a byproduct of the type of people who play HC. They tend to be the most committed players who don't mind a fresh start(hence they play HC). Almost all of them will gravitate towards the 4 month league.

It's not a problem with HC, it's just how the game is setup. I personally don't think there is anything to fix or any needed incentive.
