A Ghost Busters game on Commodore 64 is the first thing I remember.
My father says that I was small enough to use the 5 inches floppy unit as a cushion. Can you imagine an imaginary menagerie manager imagining managing an imaginary menagerie?

Super Mario on a good old gray Nintendo.
My first computer game was Raptor. My first love was Carmageddon. |

Atari 2600 - "Raiders of the Lost Ark". The first RPG I ever played. It took about 10 minutes from start to finish.
Atari 2600 - "E.T." Find the three parts of the telephone so E.T. could phone home. Another 10 minute game from start to finish. |

Glad to see so many old-school players around. I thought I'm one of the few dinosaurs and found here that most of the people posing games from the 8-bit era or the golden era of arcade games (the first part of the 80's).
The first arcade I ever played was Space Invaders around 1980 but that was a very simple game. Soon after coin-ops popularity exploded and I remember many great games from that period, namely Galaga, Super Pacman, Master Kung-Fu, Time Pilot, Choplifter, Commando, Frogger, Donkey Kong, Kangaroo, Super Zaxxon, Gyruss, Defender, Gun Smoke, Green Beret and many more. They were all great games and cost lots of money to play. :) As for computer games, my first computer was 8 bit Atari and the first games I played on it were Boulder Dash, Pitfall 2, Karateka, Montezuma's Revenge, Jet Set Willy, The Goonies and many others. Later it was the 16-bit computer era when many high quality games were created. Who remembers developers like Silmarils or Psygnosis ? Some outstanding games from that period were, foe example Dungeon Master, Prince of Persia, Shadow of the Beast 1 and 2 or Another World. Last edited by Kokoro#6389 on Jul 9, 2012, 2:54:06 PM
