What is the first game you've ever played?

The Home Alone video game...my family played it together one Christmas and we could never beat the final boss. 10 years later, I popped that game back into the old SNES and stomped the living daylights out of that mofo. Good times.
Something on the ZX. Probably Horace Goes Skiing.
indiana jones and the fate of atlantis

...das wichtige ist nicht der Fall, sondern die Landung.

If we don't take in count these cheap handheld "consoles" which have like cheap tetris or something i guess it was some weird strategy game on the PC. If someone could know the name of that game with these descriptions i would be grateful:
- Gothic style
- You build a base in it
- one map i played on it was full of ash and dead trees
- It was gory for that time, blood will be spilled
- Had a race that was evil and undeadish and a race that was all goody and holy
- Graphics were 2d. Maybe.
