Weird connection problems

nopatch doesnt open the game, it appears in task manager for 5 seconds before it closes. I personally think it was gonn work, but for some reason it doesnt even open.

I was gonna try and do the ports but i currently dont have the access information for it, so ill hve to try tht at a lter time

Edit: Seems I copied my content before the latest hotfix, so I'm gonna recopy it and see if it works.

Edit2: Ended up connecting to patching server, it downloaded 10mb of something, then I was able to click launch. Seems the samething is happening like steam version, no internet activity while trying to connect

I've forwarded the ports, still not working. Resource Monitor is saying that poe is only getting a max of 30 bytes. Something is throttling the connection to poe, and I really want to find out what is wrong. This is when trying to connect to login servers. It loads the deal of the day and the news, but when I click log in resource monitor says poe is only getting 30ish bytes.

Not sure it will help in your situation, but it might be useful to attempt to further exclude some of the other options... but have you tried attempting to connect to Path of Exile while connected to a VPN?

You can find instructions for setting up and using a free VPN in the Consolidated Technical sticky post. If it works while on the VPN, but not while not connected to the VPN, then there is something likely in your ISP network blocking the connection. If it still doesn't connect while on VPN, the issue is likely your local network.

If you have a separate router from your modem, you might also want to try direct connecting your PC to the Modem (eliminating the router) and see if it connects then. Again, these steps are to attempt to eliminate some possible options so we can focus more directly elsewhere.
I have tried both your suggestions and nothing worked. No idea why the connection is getting throttled
I have also just tried copying folder to another pc and trying it, with no luck. I guess my ISP is to blame.
If it is happening on more than one PC, then it's likely something in your network or in the ISP.

If you've bypassed the Router and gone directly to the modem, then it is either your modem or your ISP. If it works connected directly to the modem, then it's likely your router.
I have tried connecting directly to the modem and it still didnt work. Wonder why my isp suppendly stopped letting poe work. Or whatever happened.

Was working fine for 2months then suddenly 2 weeks ago I couldnt connect.
