Yeah, it can be a tough lesson to learn but...don't just assume that the same build you used to run a few months back will still work after all the changes. There's a reason WHY they give free respecs when things change that much.

I quit before the respecs came out. I found out the purpose of those respecs after I built it.

That was the first charachter i created and leveled up all the way to 81 when i started playing.
I haven't tried it since then but the author apparently still has kept that guide updated: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/300860
