Is there any way to gift shop points to a friend?

Would like to buy the friend who introduced me to this game the premium stash tab bundle, but can not see any way to buy gift codes etc.
We do not live in US so I can not use the amazon option. I guess one way would be for me to log into his account and buy them for him with my paypal, would that be against the rules? I want to check first. If there is another way, please let me know :) |

Just give him the money and he can buy the points himself.

Yes actually. You can gift Amazon point codes, Steam wallet codes or email support@grindinggear.com with help on gifting items straight through GGG if they approve it.

I couldn't find any info regarding as to why they don't allow gifting. If anyone could direct me to some further info I would be grateful.
