Concentrated effect and Molten Strike - GGG please clarify

Just tested and can 99%(*) confirm that 'conc effect' support increases the damage of the projectiles. And according to the various tests I did this is probably not based on just getting more hits due to the 25% less area of effect(**).

(*) limited number of test runs so it may be possible that the outcome is due to extreme RNG
(**) not sure if the "getting more hits with conc" part is true or not
