What build uses projectile speed?

What is projectile speed good for? Is there a build using it? How do I value it on items?

Spectral Throw uses it to adjust the range.

It is most important for Freezing Pulse builds, because damage decreases with "flight time" of the pulse. Therefore, projectile speed effectively increases damage and range.

You can increase the range of ethereal knives as well.

I think just about every spell that uses projectiles especially the short ranged ones.I'm actually currently looking for a wand with it for my dual flame totem build.The actual support gem might require more consideration as you'll often loose dps but often it can be used for extra safety (killing enemies before they get too close to you).

Three of these rolls seem marvelous for a Freezing Pulse - crit build

The +2 to cold gems is only for gems in the wand. Not enough sockets to put FP in there.

I am very aware of that - But you could run Frostbite + Empower there for a +3 Curse etc...

Still dont see why the wand would be bad for this build.

Very low spell damage, no +%cold damage no faster cast, no mana, no resists. I don't know how bad it is, only that I wouldn't use it (for the lack of FC primarily).

I see it diffrently. It has 4/7 rolls, three of which must be considered REALLY good for the build in mind.

3 Exalted later it could potentially roll into a GG item or it could roll into something atleast decent. When 3/4 out of 7 is this good it must be worth something (or we can just disregard crafting and hope everything rolls 7/7 perfect ;)
