How About Night/Day Cycles?

Like the title say, why is there no night and day for zones? Why does all of sarn apart from Barracks and Battlefront etc are daytime? Is this a hard thing to incorporate? I think it would add to the games atmosphere and assume it is pretty important to the overall feel of the zones. Right now they are all pretty static as is.

Why are police looking for missing people? None of them were missing last time I saw them
Ah, another unnecessary addition just like the moving grass that does absolutely nothing.

I don't think its unnecessary, its not necessary for the enjoyment of the game of course. The game doesnt feel 'complete' if time seems to stand still. Its about the immersion and i guess thats something you dont care about which is fine.

As for the Vaal darkness effect, its a good touch but has nothing to do with day/night cycles.

I dont care about day and night because unlike in pokemon or digimon we dont grow things. We slay monsters. What good does a day and night cycle do?

As far as i remember diablo II had day and night, that wasnt bad. Imagine if some spells were stronger during the night. Or more monsters come out during the night and the game becomes harder, weaker players should be cautious during the night

Oh dear, this isnt even possible i assume because of how their engine works and would add zero to the game in terms of replay-ability. If you want day and night go play D2. I dont need some day and night cycle in POE. It would even distract from gameplay if it changed as much as you say.
I support the idea of day and night. Game would be immerse and realistic, vibrant.

Dirkaustin, are you one of those people who are against any changes and then make posts that got bored of the game and quit?

Then go a step further.

Make our characters eat, sleep, drink, pee and poop. Lets get married and date other exiles too while we are at it. Oh and lets have kids.

Don't exaggerate it. Have you played elder scrolls morrowind, oblivion or skyrim? You know what was one of the reasons that made this game a hit and popular? Because its a living and vibrant fantasy world with some interesting game mechanics. And we dont have to date and marry there.

You know what happens with still water? It becomes putrid. Let it flow.
