Why is sacrifice of midnight so rare?

Yeah I may just buy them have like 120 choas and a couple ex but I was hoping to use that monies for gear to actually beat her. I was carried to "beat" her twice already and got loots from the guy he got her uber mats but I was hoping to be able to do it on my own and get everything. Can't there be one thing in this game we don't have to flip/trade or otherwise not play game for? Gems I guess. ;lol

My problem with the whole economy/rarity/longevity argument is that so many people are choosing to sell the fragments rather than experiencing the content for themselves at least once - which for me personally, when we finally were able to try it, has way more long term appeal (actually playing the map) than loot farming ever did. I just think it's a shame.

this makes people play more - this game valuation is a linear function of time people spend playing it. it is business model that depends on people wasting lots of time on it (then they are more likely to buy mtx or rmt - if rmt is 'state sponsored'). some 'rarity related' decisions lead me to believe that ggg has at least warm heart towards rmt sites.. as legacy debacle has no other explanation other than to fuel rmt.

so - farm farm farm these midnight and by the way there is ABCD on sale today, press 'm'. and these stash tabs you need to store all that junk needed to trade up and buy that shavrone are on sale next week

Im new here and not familiar with all those terms but thats pretty cynical. They prolly just mistuned midnights or the others are too high. Like remember boss damage when 1.1 first dropped? Huge mistake overlooked.

I made a thread in feedback basically drops are fine cept if you ever want to craft something GG or midnights. Wish they'd address.

Because of the economy. If everyone could easily farm midnights, people would not willing to trade to get some.

Um...lol?

There is nothing difficult about farming midnights other than the annoying time investment and dusks taking up your inventory space. There needs to be a recipe for trading up like we can do with maps.

I dump dusks into every map I run and still have about 10-20:1 midnights.

Having the mentality to endure boring farming is difficult.

after few more months youll understand

this game is made so people trade for progress. going self found and actually finding and progressing on your own? youve met your end with midnights. many others met it with gear or crafting

and btw - never craft (gamble really). this is rmt'ers playground. you are supposed to trade with currency items.

The drop rates are linked to server time. More people play during dawn, noon and dusk so there are more of those found.

Farm between 0:00 and 1:00 for Midnights.

That's bullshit :)
midnights are rare, but not as rare as they were before.

i already had some very lucky RNG strings: like 4 midnights dropped within 15 mins or 3 midnights in 3 consecutive corrupted areas. on average its about 2-3 midnights per hour in city of sarn.
"How come only evil forces were released?" - "Because there are no good forces."
"So, then. You don't believe that there is a God." - "There was a god."
"Well, then. Where is he now?" - "I killed him," said Kane.

lol, bullshit

i have an SSD, i load areas in about half a second, i use the timer method to detect corrupted areas (this is getting fixed btw), i kill rima in about 5 hits, and i can whirling blade at about 347239478392 mp/h

i have farmed more midnights than i can even count

even doing city of sarn in pretty much the most efficient possible way, no wasting time, no killing trash mobs, no messing with strongboxes....

you do not get 2 - 3 midnights an hour. that would be a very lucky hour.

Add me we'll farm all day Mr.2-3 per hr. For every hour you get 2 or more I'll pay you 20 chaos. For every hour you don't you pay me 20 chaos so I can buy some for that hour.;)

I farmed these two days straight and not a single one. So I'm very confident I cant lose this challenge.

oh yeah and like veruski takes me less than 20 sec to check with lightning warping and fast comp so it's not like i'm being inefficient about it.

i got 4 (four) midnights since that last drop 'change'

four.

leveled from 72 to 80 doing catacombs' CA.

that was fun, i like both catacombs and their CA and had some nice drops (few chaos etc), but sorry.. midnights are still absurdly rare (not 'difficult to get', but just that - RARE. there is no skill in beating rigged rng..)
