Glowing weapons? k thx bb

It's better reserved for the most rare and unique pieces of equipment. Otherwise it will be too fancy, especially for a game like this.

Wait, I thought this will be implemented as part of their microtransactions?
Personally I would prefer if very few items had any sparkly effects at all. I can't play Japanese RPG's just because of all the effect for EVERYTHING! I don't need to see rainbows every time my character takes a fart!

Save it for the very rare equipment, and even then let it be relatively toned down (compared to other games).

Hm... that's a good point... it's very probably...

But I think it would be a good idea to add glow effects to certain weapons. It's a good way to make a difference among the other players.
The question is, do glowing weapons fit with the atmosphere of the game.

I think that glowing weapons would actually work in this game, but it must be done carefully. For example, the bright blues that are common in other games would probably not work with the dark atmosphere in the game, whereas the dull orange like the keyblade actually seems to fit the ambiance.

My thoughts exactly and it will look more awkward when you add in the visual from the skills. Imagine all the colours.

I'm not sure if this is related, but I just had the crazy idea of having a rare quest that allows the player to make their weapons glow if a certain type of enemy is nearby. But that won't happen anyway

Anyway, it is most likely it will be in the game whether through obtaining rare equipment or through microtransactions. It's a matter of making it visually appealing to player while at the same time in line with the game's theme.

LOTR, anyone?
Haha, indeed. You've just reminded of me of that great trilogy. Elven-made swords that glow when orcs are nearby.
And I shall name it, Stung!
Hmm, in addition to making weapons glow, we can engrave names on them now? ;)
Glowing weapons.. I'll think better in Weapons more bigger and darken because this is a dark fantasy game and the glowing effects make the game looks less dark.. This is my opinion about the Post. Sorry for my bad english :D
What a beauty direct to my heart, all is here! Hate,Love,Life,Dead,Revenge! This is the mankind (Berserk Manga)
