Any Hearthstone players out there?

LackeyCCG is a platform capable of simulating any collectible card game and a server for connecting players. It has user maintained plugins for most of them including MtG. It also allows for custom card games if you think you can do better.
Best of all, its completely free. MtG is such a better game when card rarity(and price) is not a factor in constructing decks, taking the pay-to-win aspect completely out of casual play.

I wanted to join in on the Hearthstone but man, the installation was a horrible mess. I needed the battle.net program first but it simply refused to install. After about 4 hours of troubleshooting (I love programs that need you to turn off your antivirus and pretty much everything else that's running in the background), fixing and talking with support I gave up. This game may be the best game ever but I'm simply not going to waste further time installing a program that I need to install the game... Gotta say that the support guys were great though, really friendly.

PLayed it quite excessively until the new PoE leagues started.. haven´t touched it since then... damn.. a day only has 24 hours. :)

Will go back casually when the adventures are implemented.

I've been playing since open beta. Mostly because it's convenient (I can play on the Ipad whilst cooking dinner) and because most games are over in less than 10mins which is about the average length of spare time I can spend playing games.

I've completed all the daily quests and use the gold to enter the arena. I'm obviously a noob as my best result is 7 wins (6 times so far). I haven't been all that lucky with finding legendary cards. Just the one so far and whilst it may have been useful, it was also golden so I crushed it to make a couple of purples and a bunch of blue cards.

My highest rank is 7 using a cheap aggressive hunter deck. I can't seem to get higher than that as I'm up against players with much better decks.

One thing I notice when talking about the lack of chat function. People still find a way to be annoying. When a combo works well or some good luck happens when picking a random target, players will emote either sorry or thanks. I usually squelch most players from the start. If they take too long to play their first shot or emote anything other than well played, they get squelched.

If battle.net wont install you are likely missing visual c runtimes. You should install them, as TONS of stuff in windows relies on them. Install all of them, either the online installer or the redist for each.

Thanks for the tip. I downloaded it. (This thing but you said "install all of them". I found only this and some older versions. Is there anything else I should install?) The problem persists. The Battle.net update agent gets stuck about 1/3 through.

You need the older versions too, they dont really replace each other as much as they stack.
