I'm telling you my own experience from buying one two days ago.. I actually pmed people. Lots of listed prices simply don't sell. Many people are willing to go down in price as well. The number up for sale constantly fluctuates. Sometimes 5-10 get introduced at once while other times 5+ sell all at once. I got mine for 1 ex 40c around 3 days ago, and between then and now I haven't seen a significant event that caused drillnecks to skyrocket as you said.
