Imbalance in Duelist/Templar quest rewards...

I just wanted to point out that the templar gets FOUR blood magic gems by end of A1 merciless, while the duelist only gets ONE in act 1 merciless. You can easily see the templar has better access to mana regen and int nodes, so why constrict the duelist so much?

Did you know in A1 merciless with the mana flows node in duelist starting area, I couldn't sustain a THREE-Link on merviel and had to port out to refresh my pots. Like seriously, can you give duelist better access to blood magic gems while leveling? Please.

GGG really needs to redo the gem rewards for certain classes, especially support gems, and I wholeheartidly agree that Duelist needs more BM gems.

They are more or less forced to use blood magic due to their lack of INT and mana nodes, and yeah, mana flows is nowhere near enough to sustain mana, especially with the changes to leech.

I personaly love making duelists, but I'm forced to avoid them as first characters in new leagues because of this.

To make matters worse, they don't get melee physical till Act 1 Cruel, and it is the ONLY one that they ever recieve. Meanwhile, they have a total of FIVE Melee Damage on Full Life, which zero people ever use on a Duelist, wtf GGG?

Things that disappoint me are some of the 'major' type gems that most builds use.

Lets see there is

Reduced mana - seriously this should be available to everyone at some point
Blood magic - another annoyance
Mana leech/Life leech - especially for life leech, many builds rely on this. Especially life leech. Did you know that in the top right of the skilldrasil, there is no life regen (in general), and those calsses get no life leech. Literally you are screwed
Faster casting - less annoying compared with above, but still semi rare for many classes
Faster attacks - same as above

There are plenty more, but it gets really bad when you are in merc act 1/2/3, you don't need a 4th faster casting, but you really wish you could get your spell to leech but its never rewarded. Instead you have to rely on 1% hp/s that you got from ranger which was a challenge to get to already to not die in boss fights

Marauder gets offered MPD 4 times.
Templar gets offered MPD 5 times.
Duelist gets offered MPD 1 time.

Is duelist not the melee physical damage specialist?
Isn't marauder more about melee than templar?

whoever picked the gems for the templar obviously played that class. Then they looked at the duelist and was like eh, they can buy them from me!

Yes, skill gem rewards need some balance for sure. To add a few, Marauder and Templar get their first Faster Attacks in Act 1 Merc while Shadow/Ranger/Scion/Duelist in Act 1 Cruel. Way to late. Shadow would benefit from earlier Flameblast and Firestorm.

well, in that specific case, its an off class gem (templar/maraudar aren't dex classes). Yet the duelist is a strength based class that gets ONE copy of the MAIN strength gems while the other strength based get 4+ of each. Its not right that I have to buy gems of my own specialty when they are such important gems and the other classes don't have to buy their own needed gems.
