Never went through that. That's simply bad game design and I just like to stay away from those games.

No! Instancing is the worst thing to ever happen to any multiplayer game. How hard was it to make it like d2 where everyone plays in the same world, same map. Instead we have a single player coop where you can only run from point A to point B.

Considering PoE targets people who like social stuff (THE MOTHERFUKIN STORE THAT KEEPS THEM ALIVE IS ALL ABOUT SOCIAL STUFF), making a solo game with Internet drm where even chating is instanced(and borked) is a terrible choice. Or at least one that don't make much sense.

I do hope they have plan to change this in the future.
