I don't see how anything beats out Facebreakers. You can level any build in any class to lvl 60-70 without taking a single dps node. If you happen to have Meginord's belt, a BoR, and the Perandus sheild. You can get into the 80's easily, even if you're leveling a caster witch sticking strictly to her tree. The only thing you'll have to worry about is getting all the flat physical mods you can get and stat requirements for the BoR.

I'd say Crest of Perandus, but in reality it isn't just a leveling unique. It can be worn up through 78 maps, I've done it. By far the best low level unique in the game if you have a block build. It's nice at low levels too, but it almost even gets better as you level, once the block chance on it really gets a chance to shine.
For straight leveling, Hrimnor's Hymn and Wideswing are really great for 2H options, and also have low level reqs. Current IGN: TheBearerOfLight

Fastest leveling I've ever done was 2x Mightflay.. until I tried Searing Bond + Empower in Searing Touch.

" Agreed. Difference between 45% and 55% block isn't as big as between 65% and 75% (same as the resistances). Shields are overall very fucked up in PoE, rares being far worse than uniques in all cases except with the spell + crit chance ES shields. And the concept of blocking... Wideswing is incredible leveling item, use it with Sweep and feel the joy. Geofri's Baptism is also excellent, even more used. |

" Ive been saying for some time that Crest of Perandus is one of the best shields in the game. Its just so fucking versatile, and works for many many builds right up until endgame. Plus the fuckers a dime a dozen. Just goes to show that if its not "rare" people will mostly ignore it. Infernal Mantle has a similar issue.
