July 26 Screenshot of the Week - Shock Nova

Today's screenshot shows a Templar using a previously unannounced skill in an Act Two dungeon. Shock Nova is a lightning spell that causes a ring of energy to expand from the caster. It deals lightning damage to foes, ramping up in damage as it expands. The damage is highest towards the maximum radius of the spell.
It does expand to quite a lot larger than the picture shows :) Lead Developer. Question that I will probably find out eventually but want to know now anyway: Does shock nova have anything different about it from ice nova except new special effects and that it deals shock damage? |
