Don't want to get too technical, but you need both hands to load and fire a sling, as well.

If you want to get technical, you don't *need* both hands to load and fire a swing.

I'm not trying to be a jerk...

Unless you're using a small, strapped-on shield like a buckler, the only way to load a sling with one hand would be to set the pouch on the ground, place your shot in the pouch, then pick the sling back up. Or, I guess you could raise your arm up over your head to lift the pouch to your mouth and spit a shot into it. Both would make hilarious character animations, especially with increased attack speed modifiers. I'm just saying that a sling is a two-handed weapon, that's all.

Your face is a two-handed weapon.

Of course, we could just go the D3's Demon Hunter route and not explain the inexplicable.
