in D3 you're at the server's mercy no matter what you play

What is the point in discussing desync in D3 compared to PoE? Please tell me.

You know, that one is kinda philosophical, to answer that you have to know the answer to the big question: "Why do I get out of bed each morning?"

Because I have to pee.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

No not philosophical at all, if you're discussion something you want to make a point right?

So I'm asking you what is the point? That the D3 system is better?

Even if so, GGG will not likely change the system even it if was better, simply because such a change involves
- Money
- Time
- Developers
- Servers
- Other resources

They will stick with their client/server design, trust me. So pointless discussion.

Bottom line is both games suffer due to being forced online and would be better off with an offline mode.

Sadly, even if offline, D3 would be a very mediocre game.

True, but sadly, PoE will get only worse with each patch (as it is now), who knows, maybe even ending up being worse.

It's the same thing, really, we are arguing desync for the same reason we get out of bed in the morning, just because. We don't even want to make a point, as you noticed, it's completely futile because nothing can be done about it.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

D3 forums are discussing increased legendary drop rates in the first ~2 hours
(the concept of borrowed XP time or how they call it).

Hope we don't have such crappy system!

Hm I don't think so. I like most additions to the game, and the few that I don't like I simply ignore or wait until they're fixed.

Well, we're talking how good the game overall is. Of course that a certain very small amount of players would always find PoE better than mediocre.
However, PoE today is a RNG-fest, given the pattern of development, 1 or 2 more leagues later it will be a total/ultimate RNG-fest.
There is no more room for the "hardcore" argument.

NO!!

If you're DISCUSSING something, you're doing it in order to LEARN . WHAT you want to learn can vary; if you want, or SHOULD, learn about certian conditions that affect your personal life, professional life or if you want to learn about POE Builds, or if you want to learn about the most suitable approach to parenthood ETC.

If you want to make a POINT, you either a) Argue b)debate

I am 100% certain that people will read this and think: "My gawd, talk about splitting hair" but not at all, not at all. If you're in the Feedback forum to make a point and be RIGHT, you're OFF.
