Here's one experienced player who will be very glad of checkpoints. No more "I've got this. Who needs a portal?!? ... Oh crap." Moments.

It's also completely optional: protesters can choose not to click it. :)

Still...I think this system, while I understand it is good for retaining new players, should not exist in Cruel/Merciless or at the very least it should not be enabled in Merciless.

I was expecting checkpoints to only be in place for the Normal difficulty, though this seems a pretty decent compromise not only to newer players but players suffering from unfortunate desyncs as well.

Arc balance changes seem worth exploring. Keep up the good work, guys!
