I'm just not feeling the Windripper Bow

It is very good for CoC build, there are much better options at that price range for other builds.

This bow is just amazing and so strong.

Some people don't seem to realize the IIR/IIQ part is just like an added feature. Even if they removed that, the value of this bow would still be the same.

I don't really freeze much because the cold damage is too low, maybe if I had more cold damage on gear I could.

Shockstacks are no problem obviously with the high amount of lightning damage.

I also don't know why someone said the prices went down? On Standard they are 140+ exalts, on Ambush 30-40 while they were 15 at first.
Invasion they went from 5-8 to 13-16+.
On Hardcore there is none available.

I have the best phys harbinger bow on Hardcore on my ranger equipped, some very very sick rares equipped, and I'm having a hard time getting the same stats as my Invasion Scion with Windripper.

I mean.....

5.5k life, 10k split arrow (without charges), 62% Crit chance WITHOUT CHARGES, 429% Crit multi, 3.5 attacks/second, ......
14K evasion rating with Grace.

I clear full screen packs in just 1-2 seconds.

The bow is actually ridiculous.
9-10% base crit means 50% crit easily with no power charges. You have to build around it, true, But the potential is insane.

The low dps of the bow can be compensated with aura effect nodes (for Wrath and Anger). Right now i'm building a Split arrow scion specifically for this bow.

At lvl 72, my SA dps is 18.8k with Wrath and Anger active and with mediocre gear. Yes, it's not insane (yet), but I still need to pick up from the tree:

some aura nodes, which will enable me to run Haste (or grace if needed),
18% attack speed
78% elemental damage (or WED, same effect)
40% increased crit chance
some crit multiplier, probably 70%.

I my math is right, i should be able to break 30k dps on SA by lvl 88 or so, and again, with nowhere near end-game gear.

With this bow, crit chance, crit multi and attack speed are your best friends.
