Best games you ever played?

Offline:

1. Carmageddon
2. Fallout 2
3. Half life/opposing force/blue shift and ton of mods/tc's

Online:

1. Quake 3/QL atm - still playing... absolute perfection. Ez to learn hard to master :)
2. Vanilla Wow
3. d2/poe :)

Ultima Online original launch version. Best and most enjoyable cutthroat adrenaline pumping excitement I've ever experienced. Aside from graphics the game is stull superior to the vast majority of MMO's I've ever played.

After that, probably S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Dawn of War 1, and Shogun 2, Total War.
The single best game I have played is Ultima Online (first three years). The sense of freedom that game offered was unmatched, and still is unmatched. UO messed with my job, with my social life, with my sleep pattern, but it was all worth it. Every other MMO after felt restricted, limited and like a corridor.

Other games I cherish: Master of Magic, the Ultima Underworld, Dungeon Master, a German game called Sternenschweif, DOOM, Transport Tycoon, the first Civilization on the Atari ST, Hanse, Elite, Wizardry (all of them), HoMM3.

Of the newer games, WoW (as much as I dislike and resent it now, I played it for more years than any other game), Diablo 2, NWN 1, the Kohan series, Age of Wonders 2 (3 just came out), Borderlands 2.

And really old: Pitfall on the Atari 2600, and Red River Raid.

I could list more. But UO is the only one that I miss dearly.

I believe I played that one on C64, if I remember correctly. Oh man, those were the days (totally showing our age here lol).

Now I know I've played far too much Baldur's Gate when I read this guys name as Nashkel.

Oh yeah, one of the few console games I really got into. Loved it.

Once while playing, I was eating kung pow in the dark while playing, and chewed up a pepper - I never experienced anything so hot in my life. I think I drank a half gallon of milk in a failed attempt to exhaust the fire :(
BLAMT!
