I think I am losing out on stun and the endurance charge on melee stun by using axes.

I have given up on trying to find a 1.5k+ armor chest due to how expensive that thing is with t1 or 2 max life, 6l too. Guess i will have to work around with iron reflex

Btw, i looked at your beta tree, are those points to Endurance charge really needed? Isn't the Cwdt + IC + EC nerfed in beta so people are moving toward more of a manual IC casting? Well, i hardly use manual IC, like only in atziri's trio fight so i don't know the advantage of it. So as i can see it, sacrificing 2s IC (2 endurance charges) in favor of Soul of Steel looks more beneficial for me, you basically get a charge (aside from 1s IC) back and 72% armour, effectively buffing Aegis shield ES recharge each block - tankiness. And if one manage to find gears that cover the INT/Dex cost, you can get another 1 endurance charge back so you only lose 1s IC for 72% armor overall

Well, i don't play beta so i'm just throwing about my speculation, what do you think?

Yes, the corpse explosions stack. If you kill 4 monsters in a group of 5, that 1 surviving monster will take the damage of all 4 corpse explosions. If it is in radius, of course.

This build never used CWDT anyway, so we don't really care about that. IC was always manually cast here, and yes, it was used precisely for farming Atziri. Normally, you just play with endurance charges and use IC only for bosses like kole/brutus/atziri trio etc. Thus, the endurance charges are an essential part of this build and I do not plan to change that.

Soul of Steel is nice, but we might be able to take it anyway. The losing of INT/DEX nodes is nice in theory, but is impossible in practice - you would need mirrored or near mirrored gear to get everything you need. The gear I have is already very, very good, and is the result of weeks of fine-tuning, min-maxing and trading.

reckoning supported by increased aoe

and warlords mark + curse on hit + tempest shield.

I have blood rage up with increased duration. so even with recoking kills i get frenzy+ endurance charges.

Its great for the times of normal lag when you are not able to hit, but the triggers keep your endurance charges and frenzy up.

Also realized with a BOR you are losing 4 gems from helmet

Serege I noticed in your new build you took 2 jewel sockets amounting to 4 points .

what jewels would outweigh the cost of 4 passives ?
The only thing that came to my was Fragile Bloom - 2% life regenerated per second...
with 2x of those its 20% increased damage taken but it is mitigated most of the times by the endurance charges.... making the 6 endurance charges pointless as damage mitigation sources...

Though I can see some benefit to intuitive leap if we are able to allocate notable keystones within the yellow radius... like axe damage nodes ( cleaving , slaughter ), and on the right socket -- ambidexterity,essence sap , savagery,splitting strikes ...

The gem combos are nice, I am considering various things for the beta since auras have changed, plus, tempest shield is a buff, not an aura, which is AWESOME! It will be even easier to link stuff to it. However, in 2.0 you just have to use Blood Rage cause it's so good, so that's an additional gem slot. Luckily, we won't need reduced mana anymore.

Why 2 jewel slots? In beta, I had a rare jewel with 3 mods with a total of 44% increased physical damage with 1h maces. Add 1 more mod, and it is absolutely worth 2 nodes. The jewel slot below duelist is planned for intuitive leap, so that we can get the endurance charge and the mana notable to the left.

cool, i already use blood rage for attack speed boost and life leech.


What is the range of Intuitive leap? is it till the outer yellow radius?

Can we get similar increased damage with 1h axes?.
