" No, it has to do with the fact that D3 favors quick gratification since loot 2.0 (complete 180° turn from vanilla D3), making the game quite the blast, but not for a long time due to the limited gameplay/builds. Some legendary (strongly inspired by PoE uniques) have properties that can enable new builds, but it's still too limited to offer fun over a long period of time. What D3 developpers took from PoE to enhance RoS also should stand true the other way around. PoE developpers have now some things to learn from RoS, which is going a success without any doubt (as opposed to the crap that D3 was initially). But so far, it doesn't go this way... " Did you find Medianxl for D2 easy? I didn't. I found it much more challenging than D2 ever was. They had a robust crafting system where eventually you'd be able to craft the exact item you wanted. I would love a copy of RoS. Been playing vanilla D3 for a couple weeks now and have enjoyed being able to play content that is challenging for my character whenever I see fit. I havent bought the Xpac because I still doubt the quality of the game even though I have actually found upgrades for my characters. This is why I wont buy it yet, im still scarred from the failure of pre loot 2.0 D3.
That being said, I would have never went back to try D3 again if PoE didnt gate all the high level content behind massive walls of RNG because I would be happy as a clam grinding the challenging content. |

" I don't know who that is, but if he's had success at crafting then one of two things have happened. Either A) He/She is extremely lucky (at least if you're talking about multiple 6L's , etc) or B) He/She has spent hundreds upon hundreds of hours trading, playing for the currency to get the item they wanted. Time or luck. |
