Bright's pure movement speed build CHEAP! (WiP)
" op's hasn't thought that far ahead, I think. he's picking up phys damage nodes.......haha... but I did elemental pizza cutter dual strike to double dip into wrath/anger for single target...cuz pizza cutter's a far cry from buzzsaw, and you really do need that extra dps against bosses and even rares once you get to hell piety runs ele pizza cutter is still solid clear time for docks runs though, since it's an open map and our ST goes so far courtesy of excessive proj speed. can pretty much pull and aoe down the whole map |

" Looks interesting. How do you survive with so much life reserved for auras? I'm assuming you manage to run Blood Rage with the regen from blood dance, correct? IGN: DrunkBarbarian / SupernalScion Last edited by DeathTouch#6609 on Apr 1, 2014, 11:00:02 PM

depends on the map. on open maps, just kite everything. lgoh with ST gives an incredible amount of sustain, and with offscreen ST range and sitting at 165 frw without flasks, nothing is catching you ever. if you ever need to make a stand for whatever reason, drop a skel totem
can't deal with things we can't run from, like arc and flicker. also tight indoors maps we're pretty ineffective in the normal build. for those situations, I swap the ondar and blood dance for standard life/res rares, and drop haste. that drops us down to around 140ish frw...which is still more than enough to outrun anything in the game, so actual playstyle doesn't change much, but with a 2.4kish hp pool, we can take a few stray hits when progressing through indoor areas...just use the uber frw to skip it. we run so fast we're literally in and out of the room before any of the mobs actually notice you, so you can just pretend they're not there. only stop to grind the good mobbing areas, like ledge, along the roads in a2, sarn, docks, etc. mostly though, you really wanna party up for maps, especially the indoors ones. the raw dps is complete ass, and we only achieve reasonable clear times on open maps and docks cuz we're able to basically pull and mob more or less the entire map at once (quill rain with frenzy on weapon switch occasionally to maintain frenzy charges so we don't kill ourselves with blood rage) if we're fighting into conventional pack sizes, we're more or less dead weight and just pretending to dps with our high ias...especially in groups where people are constantly overwriting your ele weakness with useless crap......like..warlord's meleeing with ds is just a lot of fancy footwork. basically, spam ds until you see their startup animation for their attack, then run behind them and ds some more. not always an easy thing to do, especially with fast attack animations like fire piety but hey, that's the price you have to pay for being able to outrun her ice arrows (probably the most crowning moment of awesome for this build...the other being outrunning your own ST return so badly, that your ST actually disappears and never comes back cuz the projectile lifespan expires) ...and her fire form for that matter |

Cool. All that makes sense...
Level 50 now. Love how fast I am, but the killing is slow. I'll definitely have to try the weapon swap Quill Rain to maintain frenzy charges. IGN: DrunkBarbarian / SupernalScion

yeah, it's...not really a build designed with effectiveness in mind =P
it's more one of those having a dumb idea and then making it work builds |

Totally.
If you're using Wrath and Anger as you're primary sources of damage, why not grab any increased elemental damage nodes or even Arcing Blows? IGN: DrunkBarbarian / SupernalScion

they're not very point efficient. you get a good bit of your increased damage just from gems, unavoidable projectile damage nodes, and WED roll on belt. I guess the ele damage nodes in the start area are worth considering now at 10% a piece. when I made this char back in dom, they were still 5% each...which was idiotic. but 10% a point still isn't generally considered efficient. most builds would only take something like that if there's a big 24-30% node behind it
