While font size CONTROL (not just shrinking) is a fine idea, and way to solve the issue, it is not the only way.
The main problem is not with the font size, but with the sheer number of items display on the screen. Like someone already suggested, a more advanced item filter (x sockets, x lvl) would be very useful. That said, I think it would be a bit hard to implement perfectly, due to some things that people will not want to be filtered-out (belts, rings, necklaces, and specific items which can be converted to uniques) Another option would be to adjust the transparency of item texts like the minimap. Agree, certain font-size are way too big IMO.

I have no trouble hitting Z while fighting (or if the items are starting to get in the way) and hitting Z again before moving on, personally.
I suppose it'd be nice to not have to, but I dunno; have you guys tried just hitting Z more often? |
