Z grade movies

Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter
Gummo (Not sure if this one quite fits)
Blind Beast
The Vindicator
Evilspeak

Those are just some off the top of my head, and all excellent.

Gummo - Nope, doesn't qualify
Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter - No, it's a wannabe
Blind Beast - Never heard of it
The Vindicator - looks interesting, I'll check it out!
Evilspeak - How dare you! Not a Z flick at all man, c'mon!!!

Z grade are movies made on a shoestring budget and I'm interested in those before 1990 for the most part. Think Ed Wood.

I assumed you were just looking for generally bad/cheesy movies. Youve likely seen most of the ones worth a shit then. There is a surprising lack of watchable bad movies.

You might wanna check out of some of the Video On Demand stuff Rifftrax has been doing, some gems there. Might be rather hard to find some of them without the Rifftrax commentary though.

Im assuming youve already seen Birdemic and Birdemic 2: The Resurrection

Birdemic? No, I really don't care about anything new.

I'm hurt that you think Evilspeak is a bad/good movie, it's good! I really dig that movie, not sure what's wrong with it.

I've actually never bothered with Rifftrax, I know they goof on a lot of newer stuff as well, wouldn't be into that. Plus I think it's subscription based?
Dont get me wrong, I fucking love Evilspeak, but it is cheeseball as fuck.

Rifftrax is the mst3k guys. They do newer stuff just as mp3s and shorts and older stuff as combined video/audio. Its not subscription based, they sell their stuff individually. The Video On Demand stuff is usually five or ten bucks, shorts are usually a dollar. I personally think Rifftrax is MUCH funnier than mst3k, even though its the same three guys.

Birdemic is totally worth it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jE5dJDgZ644

LMFAO!!!! hahaha I'm not sure I could watch Birdemic dude... I fucking hate ultra lame CGI. If I still smoked the herb I might sit through it, but I don't think there is enough whiskey in my cabinet to get me through this one.

On topic, there was a Japanese torture flick I've been trying to find for a long time. I can't remember the name of it, which I know doesn't help, but it's based off a true story where several guys abducted this girl and essentially beat, raped and tortured her for quite a stretch of time before she actually died. Supposedly it's like Guinea Pig, but even more vile. If I can find the name I'll post it to see if you've seen it Jack. Reading this back to myself, I must be mentally disturbed to actively seek out that kind of cinema lol. Although, I guess it's still slightly off topic since I'm not sure it would qualify as a B/Z grade flick.

I really need to find more old, low budget movies to amuse myself with. Maybe I should try making a movie myself one day. I've always yearned to see a movie with a coven of necromancers performing human sacrifice to bring the dead back to life. It would have to be black and white, with kind of a Begotten feel to it, truly horrifying and dense in atmosphere.

Back on topic again, I found Anthropophagus to be pretty interesting. Not that great of a movie, definitely had a lot of potential, but was worth the watch for the baby eating scene alone. Also the classic Don't Look in the Cellar is still something I enjoy to this day.

E: Watching on teh youtubes right now a movie called Inferno of Torture. After trying to find the movie I mentioned above in Google I came across this link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okvogYV6etA. Will give my impressions afterwards, if I'm sober enough and can remember.

(Forgive my incoherence, I'm quite deep in the whiskey tonight. Seems to be a recurring theme with me lately.)

Just finished watching Inferno of Torture. It was surprisingly a good movie! The name is slightly a misnomer, as I've certainly seen more torture oriented films than this, but there is plenty of the aforementioned. If you are a fan of pretty, nude Japanese ladies, I would certainly check this out. The plot is focused around a depraved madam's whorehouse and some tattoo artists competing for the best tattoo for the Shogun. This was definitely a B flick, but certainly worth a watch or two!
The Super Mario Brothers movie.
Remember when I won a screenshot contest and made everyone butt-hurt? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
