Oro's Sacrifice

Oro's needs the penalties lifted, also it could use an increased crit base.

what if each hit could stack, like a shock but with fire ? Each hits lower the monster fire resistance by let s say 15%.

Or makes the ignite degen multiplicative to the number of frenzy charges the players have?

Just talking out of my ass there.

I hope you do, I've seen 2 successful builds (leap slam and flicker strike) but none of them really lived up to the potential.

I tried it out myself a little bit, on a crit/aura build but it took me about 30 seconds to kill a pack of white mobs in lunaris so I sold it (note: this was using tabula rasa to get a 6L)

Any sneak previews?

im about to scrap my build and just start all over. Weapon elemental is just too weak, you got too many fire resistant mobs coupled with no life steal and curse immune.

oro's still needs a buff
The fire penetration support gem seems to be getting overlooked in the discussion of this weapon and along with weapon elemental damage this is up there as best support gem for any attack utilizing this weapon. Though the tooltip dps won't change, unless you have a quality version, the actual dps goes up tremendously given how penetration and lowered resistances work in PoE.

Double strike>multi strike>weapon ele>fire pen>life gain on hit>faster attacks is a withering single target set up with oro's. Or if you went a crit version you could swap double with a quality elemental hit if you could support the mana cost. Cyclone and spectral throw also work well with the weapon.

I find the frenzy charges to be a red herring for a flicker build as the increased damage taken mods on the weapon itself require a more defensive oriented build unless you want to be using the body bag express often. But with a fast enough attack speed you'll be hitting ignited targets often enough to maintain frenzy charge uptime which moderately compensates for the relatively low base attack speed of the weapon.

While obviously not the best weapon it is neither the worst and fits niche builds well. Personally I enjoy unique items with detrimental effects as well as it encourages creativity to utilize an item in a build but also compensate for its drawbacks.

crits dont recharge the frenzy charges for some reason, then sometimes it works and gives you a charge, idk.

My guess is the enemy is already ignited.


That would really reallly reallly suck if this was the case, cant get charges for reigniting.
has anyone tested this?
