Depends a bit on the colors you want for it. I always felt the actual benefit of Tabula Rasa wasn't really the number of links, but that the sockets are white.

I always felt it was just to have a 6L before late game :) true true the white colours are pretty nifty, but in my experience it is not hard to roll the colours I need. Maybe that is because I use pretty straightforward boring setups :D

you cant get 6 socket before ilvl 50, therefore the 6link you are talking about can not exist.
maybe you meant ilvl 58?
