Only on corrupted maps you will see unique strong boxes... i think.... :>
I didn't ask for baseless speculation on unlikely possibilities with zero reasoning or evidence to back them up ><
If I wanted that, I would go read some more of the Atziri Fragment thread.
Sad that you will only get that and don´t enjoy it. Perhaps you should have stayed there.. in that thread.. and waited for a true positiv. Sometimes the world sucks eh`?
....What? I genuinely don't understand the content of your message (though the tone is clear...)

Maybe it meant the 'of singularity' mod that causes strongboxes to drop +1 unique item?
If you read the statement quoted in my OP, it is clear they are referring to the strongbox rarity. There is literally no doubt about this, unless the writer was inept with English which, based on the paragraph at large does not appear likely.

no fun and no play makes jack a dull boy
A kid playing computer games can never be — and never has been — hardcore.

What? He made a statement that doesn't appear to be a joke or a troll. I think you are trying to be witty, but its not working very well...
I am looking for potential answers (or the lack thereof) on this issue, and the best way to keep this thread from going off course is to nip clearly wrong "theories" in the bud.

I'd want to see a unique strongbox that contains…another strongbox! Since SoTV is RNGception themed.
You'd think someone would have found one by now. Maybe best bet is to chance (and/or regret) all the normal strongboxes you come across.

The Quine atom: a strongbox that contains nothing except for the Quine atom.

Axioms…math...I am reminded by the Monty Hall problem. Which is what I really want now. A Monty Hall strongbox(s). And add in a Goat Man.

'Schrodinger's Box' - it may be full of uniques, it may instantly kill you - you don't know which until you look....
