Exalted orb

I found two in the beta.. and 4 or 5 i ambush now... plus an etermal last season.

Ggg are stingy bastaxds with exalts.

I'm 82 right now with 246% IIR, 0 IIQ, and I've yet to pick up a single exalt. I did pick up a Cloak of Defiance, Rainbowstride and recently a Bringer of Rain. Sure, I can sell them for exalts. But I want to pick up an exalt at least once. Never picked up one last season (79), never picked up one this season (82).

He sold the orbs and the other glare for fuses, didn't get his bow to 6L and said he's the unluckiest person ever and quit PoE, I Haven't seen him since.

3 ex drops, no eternals, no mirrors (of course) since beta (started in anarchy) and playing daily. It's absurd really.

Similar but worse luck. 1 exalt in OB, none since. And an eternal? Yeah right. No such orb in my world. If this was prison I would be RNG's bitch.

Wow, this thread is still going? :) I've not been back since posting it.

I had to shelf the game because lag rendered it unplayable.

Has it improved at all?
Anyone having luck finding exalts?

1 exalt during closed beta (i believe it was ruthless difficulty act 2)

1 exalt first day in act 2 normal in open beta,

2 exalts in domination,

and 1 divine now in standard since i am not playing Ambush.


total: 1 divine / 4 exalts / 0 eternals

I've seen 10+ exalts drop in parties and only one Divine orb, no eternals in parties.

I got lvl 89 + 86 + 75 and few 60-70s been deleted. But during beta a lvl 75 was about same as 85 now... We only had 2 acts, btw.

EDIT: Also, if GGG did not drop 5-15% packets on average I would be far in 90's. I have high triple digits of deaths in merciless on each toon (lag spikes, desynch). This is the reason why I am playing on Standard now, because legacy aegis + max block lets me facetank any desynch/lag GGG throws at me.

I play since closed beta, dropped three exalts so far :

My first dropped in a race. Few seconds after the race started, still on Twilight strand, while racing to Hillock - I was so freaked out I actually died while running mindlessly to pick it up. Sad story. I think they changed the drop rules since that first race season so exalts now do not even drop in the starting areas. Bots changing the whole game.

One in Onslaught league.

One in Ambush league (yes, I went softcore - not a story for this thread)

So the thing is - they are RIDICULOUSLY rare to be used as a currency. For normal players, they are just once-in-a-year trade-away article. Which is a shame.
