6L Molten Shell Autocast - Mechanics Discussion
" Now I understand what you want. I thought you wanted MS to be your main skill. The dragons begin to speak, yin and yang are commingled

" I adjusted the topic title to make it more clear ;-) But still, with 2x 6L, you could more or less reliably autocast MS several times a second, instead of casting it manually. I need to try that :-D |

" Fire pen + Chance to ignite seem a lot better, don't they? |

tried this nonsense before. Simply does not work...
Remember molten shell detonates only upon taking physical damage. In other words you can never kill pure spelldamage monsters with this. |

IMO the best links would be
CWDT - max Molten Shell - max Inc AoE Conc Effect Chance to ignite Fire penetration you will fk shit up with that molten shell... However it won't cast very often, so it might be more desireable to self cast if you really care about a really strong molten shell Alternatively, you could use CWS, BUT you will not get stunned often in your HP build. If you made a CI build you could use a 6L CWS molten shell and really get a lot of casts off. You'd have to find a good balance because idk if you'd be mitigating enough damage to actually trigger the explosion IGN: OldManBalls (Warbands)

" A pure MS char will not work very good, true. But I just want to buff normal main skill with something. Usually, there's enough physical damage around. For spellcasters -> vaal molten shell ;-) |

" True, CI build with CWS would be cool. But I assume (not tested) that if i get stunned to often, MS will recast too often and does not explode realiably. Too bad i dont have any CI gear :-( |

Alright, so approaching lvl for codt I been thinking about this. Defiantly want MS with some extra dmg gems.
It's good extra armor. Casting a skill that takes 1 sec to explode is silly anyway. Also any of marauder crus on damage taken. Enduring cry would be sweet. Extra life regen and end charges. Will 1 gem support to skills and cast both of them or do I need separate gem for each. |
