Finally managed to kill him with a lvl 22 ranger using summon raging spirit. Summoned 2-3 spirits then kept on kiting. Just have enough life potions, the rest is straightforward.

Smile and walk away unless in a corrupted zone. No reason to kill as an invader.

I took him down in 3 shots with a lvl 24 ranger. All you need to do is get inside his aura and hit Fire Arrow. He died in under 5 seconds. Cake.
