VMS + Inc Duration + Inc Aoe/Conc Effect + Life Leech (defensive) VMS + Inc Duration + Inc Aoe/Conc Effect + Iron Will (offensive) i use the second one and damage is ABSURD vs certain mob types (barrage-shooting feathery things) | |

Does Vaal Molten Shell crit for anyone? I've not seen it crit I've been using it since low level on a character that is now in the low 70's.

Vaal Molten Shell can crit, but like most skills will either crit with every explosion or with none of them for the duration.

Really fun skill! And not OP for my not-that-tanky RoA ranger.
It kills but it takes some time to charge up and while it blasts the mobs, they keep hitting you (fine risk/reward ratio for my taste). I though about LL but I don't have the right colours on my gear. Onslaught and Frenzy/RoA w/ LGoH help with the tanking attempt. CwDT w/ Flammability should synergize well. vaal molten shell+increased duration+added cold damage+added chaos damage+added lightning damage+iron will

suggest dropping the added cold, as you sorta want mobs to keep attacking, not slow down attacks... in order to trigger more bursts.
