And yes I have a level 32 witch without a brutus archievment, can you tell the character is before the game was on steam? In fact I think it was when it still was in beta... That character is on the last act but the character is massively underpowered due to a bad build, it can work in a party but solo it stands no chance... I see. I forgot to factor in when the achievements were added. In any case, rolling a new character to Dominus in Standard via public parties should not be too difficult to accomplish. It's something that could easily be done in a few hours on a weekend, even for a new player. If nothing else, you could try to contact support directly and simply ask them politely to unlock the Scion for you. I don't know if it's against their policy to do something like that, but it's worth a try.

If you are tired of mages and archers than do a melee ranger build - you can do most stuff with any class, there are no restrctions, beside stats.

You don't have to play as a mage/archer with Witch/Ranger.

For those who missed the edit I did to the previous post. The problem with doing it is that I play games to have fun and if i have to do stuff in the game that I don't have fun doing... Well why would I be playing the game then?

I've tried doing it not much after the scion was released and the result. I didn't even got past the first act before I just got bored having to play with the same uninteresting characters.

D623... - I don't like joining public parties, i like to play this game solo or at best with a friend or another I personally know, but those have played this game before and they didn't liked it so it really goes down to solo play for me... I really cannot be bothered to unlock the character, the amount of time I'll be playing the game hating every second of it just isn't worth it and as for sending a support ticket asking for the character to be unlocked in my account... Well you do know that developers just don't open that kind of exceptions. When they do it, they either do it for everyone or no one gets it.

However unlikely, this is currently your best option as far as I can see. It's either that or beat Dominus.

There are people who spend 1k+ real cash in a single go on the game, you haven't spent anything at all and are just some random lvl 32 scrub who can't even kill Brutus.

I didn't said I couldn't beat the game on normal. I said doing it without playing as the class I want to play would be about as fun as stabing myself in the eye with a pencil... Now to do that for 8 hours in a row... Yeah, no thanks.

I belive what you are failing to see, along with some other people who think similarly is that the game stands nothing to lose to have the character unlocked right from the starts. On the other hand it may lose players and as such possible customers by having characters locked.
