+1, nice mockup. We need this even more than sort + stack functionality, though that would be nice as well. (Sorting becomes less critical when you can search and actually find things.)

We need this function! Trying to find a gem through 12 tabs then realizing you don't have it makes me want to smash my face through my keyboard. This is something that I have seen mentioned before. I imagine it is on GGG's list of things they would like to do, but it probably just has a low priority right now.
