P.S. if anyone says this build can't kill regular totems, they haven't equipped freeze pulse + iron will + GMP ....or use EK! Exile is an illusion, exile!

Righteous Fire build that uses Dominating Blow with Culling Strike, IIQ, IIR, Melee Splash, and Faster Attacks/Multistrike. You do enough damage from RF and as you cull you get minions that cull and do some damage.
Other than that, an aura build that uses the same skill and links in a full group. |

I'm surprised no one has mentioned summoners. You basically just run around the map full speed and watch everything melt. Most of the time I don't even notice I've hit the boss until I see a giant loot explosion.

" Another interesting trick, is to use Cyclone+BM+LGoH+AddedChaosDmg, since I use Cyclone to go through mobs and trigger EE, it works out decently well.. As for fast clearing chars, Dual Strike. My Duelist with BoR and 8 Frenzy Charges just zooms through. Leap Slam <3 EA IGN: We_Have_Monk_at_Home

Ok we all love our chars/builds and they all can go very fast, but for "fastest" some factors of how you do the dmg comes in.
Eventually all the good build 1-hit mobs, or do enough dps that here really isn't a difference. So to be "fastest" you have to minimize the time you need to get your dmg to the mobs. Flicker for example has the advantage that you don't have to walk or leapslam or whatever to the mobs. You just hit them. With splash dmg ~8 times a second. You need no Curse - and it's very fast because of that. In my experience there is no faster in raw killspeed. The disadvantage is that you tend to flicker several areas ahead and have to backtrack to loot and finish off stray mobs. Sometimes you don't ever know where you came from, where you need to go or what left and right is. Depends on the Map though... Crypt is by far the worst. Crit Discharge just walks into a room, makes Boom, loots, next room. A burning discharge has to worry about charges, Curses etc - so it's slower. Disadvantage of any Discharge build is single-target dmg and you might loose the time you gain by killing packs on bosses. I'v never played a Dominating Blow or Minion-based build in general. I can't imagine a dominating blow build can be as fast in general (you won't have 50 flicker mobs all the time). With Dominating Blow you still have to walk to mobs to hit them in the face, and from the videos I saw minions need some time to orient themself after being ported somewhere through leap-slam. Imo a basic summoner should be faster, simply because he doesn't has to run to the mobs. The question is how good the Zombie-AI is. If you really can run through rooms, maybe place 1-2 curses (faster than 1-2 Discharges), and walk on, it can be faster. But I doubt it, should be faster on the bosses though. I also never played a RF-Build, but the fact that mobs need to run into your RF or you have to bring your RF to them means it can't be as fast. Alone that you need to make 1-2 dedicated casts for totems disqualifies it from being "fastest". To be clear: I don't intend to say build x/y is bad. All I say is that there is a difference between a fast or fun or effective or great build and THE FASTEST. ;) I'm not sure what the "fastest" is anyway. |

for 66-70? summoners by far. don't even need to bother cursing for low maps...or bringing evas...or even dps zombies really. just go double BM, one with aoe, another with conc, and run around and watch the world burn. only stop to curse EE rares and unis. spam some pots along the way, don't respect any mob. BMs will kill them long before they're able to kill you
on easier maps that might not even be necessary. I once killed fairgraves accidentally. he was hiding in the dark, I tried to pick something up and got inventory full, opened my inventory to fiddle with it, then suddenly a sea of loot just appeared behind me since basically every build one shots low maps solo, the only thing that matters is mobility and aoe size...and summoners have huge amounts of both |
