What class will you play first?

Lately in RPGish games I've been tending towards ranged classes first. They tend to be easier and more powerful early game since mobs rarely reach them. After I understand the mechanics and flow of a game I like to be a more classic rogue or berserker warrior style player. I also love playing a support type role, but not feeling that in here yet.

Based on the 5 known classes I'll start with the Witch. I've always been drawn to that class and/or BattleMage classes.
