how did you find out about path of exile

I found out by a friend addicted to wow and now Swtor that probably has checked every game on earth.
He told me it's similar too Diablo and this made me register in Nov 2011 and start dreaming, finally got the key. My friend is probably checking a new game right now. .:It's never too late to become what you might have been:. |

I´ve simply searched for an good hack and slay alternative for Sacred 2 or Diablo 2 but this
looks much better. The skill tree looks very cool^^. Too bad there is no open beta yet... |

I saw TotalBiscuit's video, that was definitely my first exposure to the game.
I played the #$^! out of the Diablo series, and a couple mods - so the favorable comparison to those games drew my interest. |

ign ftw, I spend quite some time on different game review websites such as gamespot or ign, some of the links are just awsome about finding out new games

I searched some vids about "Grim Dawn", which also is an action RPG in development since 2009 or so,on youtube and discovered this vid
