Do stats tell the truth about PoE?

Ahh yes, the good old fanboy statement number 54 "go play wow eazzzy mode". And that from someone who created the account in December 2013. See you in a few months after reality kicks in.

Not only that, most of the people who say that probably couldn't get 3v3 arena gladiator if their lives depended on it. PvE wise some of the content in wow, even the 5 man stuff at various time periods, is far far more challenging than anything in path.

Ah I love to start my mornings seeing GGG white knights getting #rekt

Maybe if you started your mornings playing instead of whining on the forums you'd find something.

consider that we are more than 75% of the way through a 4 month league too. Numbers will diminish and surge in 4 month cycles due to the nature of dumpster/temporary leagues

I don't have good RNG, never 6L'ed an item and never find exalts yet I feel this game is as rewarding as any other that i've played, D3 included.

If good loot rained down on you every day you'd be just as miserable

Really man,

go play world of warcraft if you WANT it the easy way.

i am glad i found a game that is actually hard to progress.

99% of the games nowadays are easy and made for the mass to make money.

POE is like that, it might take a lot of hours of gaming before you get something good, but thats how i like it.

all your statistics only shows that if you put as much effort in the game than building this post, you would probably have 100 exalt by now.

and who cares if the player base is droping. they cant please everyone. if you dont like the game, dont play it, its not like you paid anything. you dont even have the right to complain.

GGG have made what blizzard couldnt and without the infinite pool of $$$ that blizzard have access to. they deserve a donation if you like the game, and they deserve that you stop polluting their forums and scare potential players.

Go buy a teddy bear and find a cloud to float on it.

UNBELIEVABLE

Maybe the game could have some smoother difficulty?

Man I really just could not disagree more. I used to find PoE challenging, but since one of the patches about halfway through open beta (the one that launched with Anarchy league I believe) I have simply found the game overly easy. My character isn't anything special. His gear is pretty solid, but nothing insane. His build is one I created. Just a simple EK build focusing mostly on life and other survivability nodes. Yet I can run level 78 maps like they're nothing. There are certain combinations of map mods that will provide a slight challenge in lvl 77/78 maps, such as Enfeeble + Monster Life + Curse Immune. Without those mods, I just roll through and kill entire packs of mobs before they even have half a chance to damage me. All but a couple map bosses are complete pushovers who can be killed in less than 5 seconds and do no damage. I remember when I really had to fight for my life when doing the boss for Coves (a level 70 map). Now when I do the Gorge (lvl 74) boss who is the same boss, I can just stand there and tank without my life dropping below 90%. I'm not built around some crazy block build. I have 15% block chance, 8k armor and 6k life.

I hear Diablo 3 has monster power 10 for people with godly gear who really want a challenge. I think it would be great if there was some way I could make PoE more challenging while remaining in my league of choice. I don't have time to start over in a new league every 4 months. I can only play a couple hours a day so it's not really an option for me.

Every game will lose players over time.

That is true, no doubt about that.

But here's the thing, it's about an assumption.

Where is the golden universal rule that everybody will think it's their ultimate obligation to go through all 3 difficulties?

There's no gaming Pope telling everyone that unless you complete the three difficulties you're a useless person and should be ashamed of yourself.

People pick up a FREE game and then lose interest. It has nothing to do with drop rates/difficulty or some type of gaming mechanics. It just is what it is.

Seriously here's a quote which will last a whole lot longer than PoE/D2 or any other game.

"There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."

You got it wrong.. smoother difficulty is not exactly same like easier game..but honestly..I have to agree..there should be some form of difficulty choice so everyone could have some fun even with their super flawed characters while still keeping game challenging for the most hardcore crowd and best characters..
