- How long have you been playing Path of Exile?
1 year in total, played around the time of release but I couldn't get very far.
Started again near the beginning of ambush.

My most successful character is a two-handed marauder with infernal blow at level 80.
On Ambush.

- What aspect of the game is keeping you "Hooked"?
I'm not entirely sure, I enjoy the replay-ability of PoE and am a strong fan of new economy that start from new leagues. It's not a game where I hit a brick wall and suddenly find myself with no answer.


- Have you been in a Path of Exile guild before? If yes, how long were you a member and why did you leave?
Yes, just a week ago or so they went MIA on PoE. I mean they were on teamspeak consistently but logged on Path less frequently and that wasn't what I was looking for.

- What league do you intend to play in?
Ambush, any league without perma-death. I really don;t have the internet connection to be playing HC.

- How many hours a week do you spend playing Path of Exile?
15+, Usually way more but I am a student in college.

- Do you have a working microphone?
Yes

- How do you feel about using voice communication?
I use them everyday with my friends on skype.

- If you don't mind using voice communication, how do you feel about using it for daily social activities and not just for occasional group play?
I'm not against it but don't want to be held accountable if I sound bored.

- BURN is a social community. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the term "Social Community"?
Thank god. usually hate silent atmosphere unless I need to focus. Generally I like not be distracted by someone needing my attention because 10% exp loss is a pain to work back up, but love to hear people around me.

- Why do you want to join BURN?
Looking for a large and dedicated social atmosphere. Like to share the things I do on PoE and what not with other people. I enjoy mapping too but I haven't found the right build I want to dedicate to that.

- At what hours do you usually play? Please include your timezone.
EST, 3pm - 2am range. USA.

Almost two-weeks, though the D2 format is nothing new to me.

- What aspect of the game is keeping you "Hooked"?
I had a long love of D2 and I love the open skill tree (originally saw it in FF14). I enjoy the darkness of the story and the atmosphere of the game as well, so much so that I held off partying or joining a guild until I played through the first difficulty solo (so nothing would distract me).

- Have you been in a Path of Exile guild before? If yes, how long were you a member and why did you leave?
As stated above, I have been avoiding guilds until I had a grasp of the game and played through it once.

- What league do you intend to play in?
My main character is in Standard. I have another character in Ambush that I am primarily playing right now. I have no qualms about joining Invasion once I have more experience with PoE. I also plan to partake in events, races, and leagues once I have a high-level character and have tried out some builds to see what I like the best.

- How many hours a week do you spend playing Path of Exile?
I feel guilty answering this; 40+. I don't consider myself hardcore, I just love my recreation time.

- Do you have a working microphone?
Yes, headset with mic. Use Team Speak all the time.

- How do you feel about using voice communication?
I have my own 50-person TS server, so yeah.

- If you don't mind using voice communication, how do you feel about using it for daily social activities and not just for occasional group play?
Fine by me. I usually have room for 20-40 people on my server if a backup is needed as well.

- BURN is a social community. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the term "Social Community"?
Actually talking/typing rather than just playing in a party for bonuses/guild buffs.

- Why do you want to join BURN?
A. 'Mature' (this means a lot to me in a free game)
B. The guild name (it may sound superficial but I believe if you are going to put a label on yourself, you should be able to proudly stand behind it)
C. It was the first post in the guild recruiting section (sounds lazy, but honestly the threads at the top show active guild officers)
D. Premise: Burn (I'm generally quiet and friendly but I'm very direct and energetic and like fire spells; the guild name fits well)

- At what hours do you usually play? Please include your timezone.
My schedule fluctuates a little. I'm in the EST/EDT zone and am usually on in the evenings. But I can also be on in the morning or afternoon since I start work at 4 am. I have been known to spend all day playing on my days off (though I'm not addicted! I swear it!)
