What do you think of Act 3?

I loved it. I love how big it is. I love Solaris and Lunaris temple. The mobs are fun to fight and everything in between. by far its my favorite act.

Everything Def46 said I think the opposite~. I guess that is why you can't please everyone :).

So I guess that means you think Sarn City is not good. Sarn Slums is not a brilliant map and its boring. The Temples are not great, the statues and the ribbon creatures suck and look bad. There are not enough square buildings, you want more of them as they are very exciting. Etc.

Excellent feedback!
maps too big for the considerable raise in difficulty compared to other acts.

either need more waypoints or less scary monsters.

act3 feels like an entirely different difficulty compared to the other acts where there is a linear difficulty progression.

personally i would have liked it if they split act3 in half (one sewer-related and one above-ground-themed).
of course they would have needed to add 2 maybe 3 small sub-quests, but in return you could have a much smoother difficulty progression with the same end result.
I cannot believe people are complaining about how act 3 is too big!

The bigger the better! More content! More gameplay hours!

So what if it's big! Rather it be small? Heck no!
Awesome! Act 3 is the best act of all the 3. I hope act 4 is even better :)
I love Act 3. It only felt really huge the first time I played through it. It was a much faster play through the second time (once you know where everything is and where to go).

Perhaps it's less linear in layout than A1 or A2 which lends to it's feeling of being rather large. But it feels just right to me.

I must confess my concern for the Act 3x that GGG is planning to add at some point. Chris mentioned A3 was only about 1/2 - 2/3 finished at OB and the Sceptre of the God isn't even in the current build yet. That may push A3 over the edge into the realm of "too much content for one act", but not currently.

to big to short to long to fast to scary to boring to sad to happy

ppl will always find something to complain it´s only human so don´t bitch about each other :)

i love my first death in ob that was in first map of act 3 when the unique boss there droped a bear trap and i couldn´t move while i was swarmed.

But i must admit i didn´t like the map design of the warehouse house much and the sewers repeat themselves to often. 2-3 for a non boss architecture would be fine but 4 are defently to much. Loving the undying passage though. ^^
What can never be lent or earned?
Somewhat, that devours everyone and everything:
A tree that rush. A bird that sings. It eat bones and smite the hardest stones.
Masticate every sword. Shatters every shrine. It defeat mighty kings and carry mountains on lightly wings.
What am i?
I think act 3 is great - thus far I'm liking it best out of all 3, but that might be due to the fact that I didn't play through it dozens of times in CB. The NPCs are interesting, the mobs are cool and the areas are incredibly atmospheric (although that stands for the other acts as well) - I especially enjoyed the Docks and the temples. The Solaris temple is absolutely gorgeous and the Lunaris temple is creepy as hell. :D
What have you become when even nightmares fear you?
TL;DR 1st :)

They dropped the ball with Act 3, and it should be more concise and less cluttered with nonsense.

I like the concept of Act 3, I have enjoyed the game since OB and will continue to play it regardless.

Act 3's size makes me miss phase run the flasks don't cut it... a guy streaming had 4 on his belt and could barely make it to the slums waypoint without being decimated and of course the flasks were gone.

I know people will say "you shouldn't run through content" you miss the point... they could of taken the damage bonus to melee or wtfe off the gem and just made it a movement speed gem.

And don't get me started on partying up and having imbecile party mates, who don't know to drop a portal WHERE THEY ARE, so you need to flask up to catch them. Smh. Huge maps no phase run is arse.

That being said Act 3 is a nutshell of tomfoolery and redundant run here no here.... no there... now back to the 1st place and grab a statue remember to gopher pop your head up here no there... nope still wrong keep up... run again oh darn you missed that waypoint? DO IT ALL AGAIN :|

Idk what they were doing when they were testing this Act out but it clearly wasn't thinking.. Idc how short the damn content was, it's an ARPG end game maps were fine all through OB.

ARPG content is repetitive it need not be long drawn out boring AND confusing to boot.

I hate act 3 I don't even play it anymore because it is so far away from the feel of the game I've been playing for months on end. I agree with the comment stating it feels like titan quest.

I get that they want content but I don't know anyone who enjoys it from my entire group of friends who all loved playing CB and watching streams of CB.

As far as the actual content, none of it feels difficult just boring and repetitive without merit or reason.

GG, GGG! I can finally be the flamethrowing psycho Marauder I've always dreamt to be! Wish they had a hockey mask MTX & a gore scorching ray skill gem MTX mmmm one can hope!
I loved 3rd act, loved it a lot. Especially the dungeons... :)

The act i dont like that much is act 2, and that is because of the outdoor areas being so shiny and not intresting :P
