New Cursor Feedback

What do you think of the new mouse cursor size?

Love it, just what I wanted.

Still too hard to see, not enough contrast or is too small.

Too easy to see, is too bright and out of place.

Don't really mind either way.

Voted option two (too small).

My main complaint is not the visibility though, but that it does not fit the game. I'd expect to see this kind of mouse cursor in a futuristic game, a simulator or an RTS.

On my wishlist: each class gets its own, distinct cursor.
agree on both i also think its to small

you could add the option of customizing the curent cursor so if ppl want a huge neon red one they can have it and they wont bother anyone else

Except that it is really ugly it is definitely too small.
I suggest redesign in the spirit of Poe and the increase size of pointer ^^
Mirror of Kalandra?
I think the major issue, I've found with the cursor is color. I tend to have my map up all of the time and my cursor gets constantly lost there. The white color needs to change to a gold, or add more intricate detail like a colored gem inlaid in it or something to make it stand out and be more noticeable. The size isn't really the issue for me, simply because adding color or detail to the cursor remedies the problem of finding it.

My previous comment, a gold or dark brown cursor with a colored gem inlaid would great example of how to fix the problem. The color stands out against a lot of the grey or very light sand colors that are in the environment and the colored gem can make it incredibly distinguishable against like colors and the map.
I like the old D2 gauntlet cursor and I'd love something similar in PoE. If not gauntlet then maybe a small sword with some subtle light effects around the blade when in idle mode?
As I understand it there are some technical limitations on the size of the cursor. Despite this, I have to say it is still too small. I disagree with those who are asking for intricate cursors, as far as I am concerned the simpler the better, as long as it can be located immediately against any backdrop.
I used to be apathetic, now I just don't care.

I agree 100% with the map overlay and all the white items on the ground, and the already darker tones of the game itself, we need a cursor that stands out a bit more, color-wise. And a strong outline of some kind would help.
Dedicated CBT for PoE. (I genuinely care about the success of GGG and PoE.)
I don't mind either way as for me it fits (it looks like an arrow/spear head) and I can see it just fine.

However, the ability to personalise it would be nice. Such as making it up to 2x bigger and changing it's colour.

You could also make a pay item which lets you choose from several different cursors.
First, the cursor color needs to be player dictated. I feel that grey will blend into the background, and different people have different opinions.

Second, an animation could help. Movement catches the eye, so if you lose your mouse cursor for whatever reason, the movement of the cursor should tell you fairly quickly where it is. This is the same reason when people lose their cursors they tend to shake it in an algorithmic search pattern.

I would like the old school gauntlet cursor.

Fits the game and doesn't get lost in the chaos.
