Boycott looting system with your $$$

i dissagree with your hating. but yes the looting system is horrable.
A lil longer timer wouldn't hurt! :)

I am currently boycotting microtransactions due to the poor experiences I've had with how loot is handled.

This personal boycott will stay in place until such a time as there is a compromise implemented such as extending timers by 3-5 seconds, or a skin is released for Summon Zombie, or about two weeks from now when I use some of my paycheck to grab a Royal Red or Royal Green frog, whichever comes first.

I encourage others to do the same.
Make some friends. Play with friends. Share loot.

or...

come to forums and throw a tantrum like a child.

Entitlement age, gotta love it.
Yes, as soon as you start playing with friends (either old friends or new ones you find in-game) the loot-timers do not matter one bit. :)

In our current group, we give to those who need, legendary items and whatnot.

Even still, a longer timer for the loot wouldn't hurt for those who don't play with friends. :)

We already have a 200 pages long thread on this.

If you want something, at least ask for it nicely. The loot system doesn't appeal to me, but it doesn't mean I have to behave like an entitled t*at. Make a post, the devs do read the forum.

In b4 lock.
A 200 page thread and a 309 page thread and countless others.

I don't like the loot system, I think it's unfair, it adds unnecessary stress, makes people concentrate more on loot than teamwork, enforces ninja looting and thieving, promotes indecency.

I hate how everyone says this game is for hardcores, well then, I guess this game doesn't deserve my money then, since I'm softcore(even though I'm a decent person, I spent $20 because I felt developers needed something for a great game with a crap loot system), anyway I'll just continue playing by myself until I get bored and quit.

So all the softcores players out there just remember that this milkshake brings all the hardcores to the game, and in the end from even what the developers said themselves that they don't care about us softcores.

Well then, don't care about our money!

Play on softcore brothers, play with yourselves like I have since I can't enjoy this horrid party loot system.

Enough people boycotting brings the change we want/need!

Here are some suggestions I saw in another thread that everyone can be happy with:

Options when creating a game:

* Free-for-all
* Free-for-all with timer (>1 second...)
* Instanced

I know the devs want to keep the "competitive, desolate, gritty" edge on the game, but guys, let's face it, most people (myself included) will just solo and NEVER play in groups. This is a game about character progression. I don't want to FIGHT over loot, or even worry about it, ever. So I play alone.

Path of exile is all about options and customization, is it not? I mean, you have a skill tree with 1350 points but yet you limit the loot mechanics, which are INTEGRAL in progression and go alongside builds. Think about it.

This needs to be addressed. You don't have a 300 page thread (and several other hundred page thread) when people are happy about a game mechanic.

I love you GGG but this is first and foremost your biggest concern in gameplay mechanics right now.

There are plenty of hardcore players to replace you, goodbye, you won't be missed.
I find the loot system strange, but not necessarily bad.

It's simply a different way of doing it. Granted, I have yet to group with anyone and honestly, I'm just enjoying the game and not worrying about loot. So my perspective might be skewed by those two things. But in the long run, there are simply people who strive for min/max and those who are just along for the ride.

Fighting over loot? I dunno, sounds like the good old days to me.
